wcg_screenshotTekken 6 made the cut onto the World Cyber Games roster for its 2010 tournament series.

The WCG made the announcement Sunday evening. Tekken 6 is the only fighting game on the roster so far. It will be played on the Xbox 360. It will be a 1-on-1 tournament, according to the tournament Web site.

A year ago, the WCG only had one fighting game, Virtua Fighter 5. Months ago, the organization asked fans and followers to submit their suggestions for what games should be on this year's list of competitive games.

There's no word from the league whether they're pursuing Street Fighter IV or any other fighting game.

The full list of games announced so far:

  • Warcraft 3
  • Counter-Strike
  • Trackmania Nations Forever
  • Carom 3D
  • Guitar Hero 5
  • Tekken 6
  • Forza Motorsport 3
