Super Bowl XLV champion quarterback Aaron Rodgers had the biggest win margin in advancing to the final eight of the Madden 12 cover vote. Rodgers won 76 percent of the vote against St. Louis' Sam Bradford.

Rodgers -- and I've been saying for weeks he is the most deserving player for this year's cover -- will now face Danny Woodhead in the third round.

The two previous cover athletes, Michael Vick and Drew Brees, are also still in it. Both of them had closer outcomes in advancing, and if they win their next round, they'll meet up in the semifinals.

Perhaps the most surprising final eight matchup is Kansas City's Jamaal Charles vs. Cleveland's Peyton Hillis. If we were to go by favorties, then Rodgers has the easiest route to the finals.
