Days after winning the qualifying berth, Latif and Mr. SNK have informed tournament organizers they will not be attending Super Battle Opera.

Latif and Mr. SNK cited visa and passport issues. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Japan later this year.

Because of the resignation, the new representatives will be Mike Ross and Ryan "Filipino Champ" Ramirez, the runners up from the qualifying tournament. 

UPDATE: Here's a statement from Mike Ross on his Twitter portal:

I hate that this is how I go to SBO more than anything. But I promise to rep to the fullest. Latif/SNK are still the true winners.
