There may not be an NFL season, but there will be a Madden 12 game, and now we know the date it's going to be released. It'll be Aug. 30, according to spokesman Rob Semsey. 

Aug. 30 is a Tuesday, which means the game will be released on a day typical games and movies are released. Last year, the game was released on a Friday to create extra hype.
