There are at least three Tekken 6 tournaments that players can participate in the next couple of weeks, two being online and one being live.

The live event is the Gamestop tournament series. Almost every Gamestop will play host to a tournament on Saturday. It will be a single-elimination tournament, and only controllers provided by the stores will be used. The game will be played on the PlayStation 3.

Based on the FAQs provided by Gamestop, each tournament will be limited to 32 participants.

More information can be found in the FAQs (PDF file) and tournament site. To see the list of stores, click here (PDF file).

GameBattles will also host two online tournaments for Tekken 6. The first is for the Xbox 360 and that will take place Nov. 8; it's a one-day tournament.

The second GameBattles tournament will be for the PlayStation 3, and it takes place Nov. 14.

Both GameBattles tournaments are single elimination. You must be a member of GameBattles or Major League Gaming and have 20 credits to participate in either tournament. no comments
