LowLandLions has footage on their site of well-known European player Ryan Hart defeating Daigo Umehara during the World Game Cup last week in Cannes, France.
Here's some of their report from the event:
Each day the tournament held a tournament between hundreds of players on a daily basis and the very best two would qualify for the Masters Series. The Masters Series was a tournament which featured the very best 8 players (the best 2 from of each tournament day) who had to finish the brackets from there on.
LowLandLions Street Fighter IV legend, Ryan "Prodigal Son" Hart, had to face the almost undisputed biggest legend of the Street Fighter community, the Japanese Umehara Daigo, and in a thrilling match managed to finish him off, handing him his first European loss ever with a 02 - 01 score.

UPDATE: eSports.ie has the results from the tournament. Daigo came in second to Fuudo.
