Gootecks posted a portion of the finals of the AfroShoto Invitational tournament, an eight-person competition featuring some of Southern California's best. The finals was Justin Wong vs. Mike Ross. Wong opted to go with Makoto in the title match.

This is Game 1 of Mike Ross (E. Honda) vs. Justin Wong (Makoto) in the Grand Finals of the AfroShoto 8-Man Invitational Tournament on August 10, 2010 held at Boardners in Hollywood, CA. Unfortunately the footage for Games 2 and 3 is not available.
The background music is original music from the fortcoming release AfroShoto by Miles Mosley and Kamasi Washington. AfroShoto is music inspired by and featured in the documentary I Got Next by Ian Cofino. I Got Next is a documentary on the fighting game scene featuring players like Justin Wong, Mike Ross, gootecks and iloveu Joe.
