The Daigo Runback took place this past weekend, and I computed a lot of stats from that match. i talk about a few of those stats on today's Stats Series podcast.
Of note, Round 1 was a very important round for Daigo, as it helped him set the tone for every game in the 19-game (first to 10) series.
Poongko, who averaged nearly 4 combos a round in the top eight at Evolution 2011, was nowhere near that in this match against Daigo. That kind of defense helped Daigo prevail.
