Tekken 6 Global Championships broadcast is tonight

Tekken 6 Championship

The Tekken 6 Global Championship tournament is scheduled to be broadcast at 10 p.m. PT. The tournament is taking place at the Tokyo International Forum in Japan.

It is scheduled to be a 16-person tournament, with four representatives from four different parts of the world. The guys from iPLAYWINNER have said the four North American representatives are Aris, Mr. Naps, Chet Chetty and Insanelee. Aris and Mr. Naps were the two finalists of the Level|Up tournament last month here in Orange. Chet Chetty also won the national championship a few weeks ago in San Francisco.

The team at UFrag will be broadcasting the tournament, and it will be shown on the official Tekken site.

NAMCO BANDAI Games will host a premier championship gaming tournament for TEKKEN 6, the latest installment of the top-selling fighting video game franchise which has shipped more than 2.5 million units worldwide since its Oct. 27, 2009 launch for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. After months of no-holds-barred worldwide tournaments, the best of the best have emerged and the world's top TEKKEN 6 players – including four from the North American championship – will go head-to-head, competing for thousands of dollars worth in prizes, and ultimate bragging rights at the TEKKEN 6 Global Championship Finals in Tokyo, Japan.
