The field is stacked with veterans, which is like saying the sun came up today. However, ST Playah makes his second appearance in the Top 8 in the NorCal Regionals series. His friends told me this is his second tournament ever, which makes his run even more amazing.

As you'll see in the videos in the coming days, Daigo Umehara and Blue Tall Cans played an intense battle in the winners bracket. Daigo's Guile had some connections I never thought were possible.

Winners Bracket
Daigo Umehara (3-0) vs Campbell "Buktooth" Tran (3-0)
Alex Valle (3-0) vs DGV (3-0)

Losers Bracket
ST Playah (3-1) vs David Sirlin (3-1)
Blue Tall Cans (4-1) vs Mongolo Robocop (4-1)

Tekken 6

Renzo and Jadey each lost their first match of the tournament and then won out to get to the Top 8. One person doing it is crazy, but to have two do it is insane.

Winners Bracket
Jimmy "Mr. Naps" Tran (3-0) vs 725 (3-0)
Reepal "Rip" Parbhoo (3-0) vs Derek "Kane" Lee (3-0)

Losers Bracket
"Filthy Rich" Richard Bantegui (4-1) vs. Renzo (6-1)
Jadey (4-1) vs Tim "Steve Champ" Akins (5-1)
