Last night's Starbase Arcade 2-on-2 tournament featured a duo both using Claw that reached the title match. Unfortunately for Mario and El Cuban Loco, they couldn't finish the deal, losing to Hoodaman and Grimmz.

Most of the stats were even; both teams had connected on five EX moves, and their first-combo wins were close, 3-2 in favor of Grimmz and Hoodaman.
Where it separated was combo rate. Hoodaman and Grimmz combined for a 2.286 combo rate per round, while El Cuban Loco and Mario were barely at 1.429 per round. The leader out of the four players was Grimmz, who was at 2.333 per round.
Hoodaman and Grimmz also each won when on game point. Mario never saw a game point, and El Cuban Loco was 1 for 2.
I'd like to see these four guys go at it in an extended series, just to see whether it remains close. It probably would.
