The Players Choice - Episode 4 - Keno on playing Super Street Fighter IV

This should be a great Players Choice podcast, and I hope you enjoy it. Yesterday I received the opportunity to interview Keno about his experience playing Super Street Fighter IV. Keno had the chance to play the game last week at USC, and tried out a lot of the new characters, as well as some of the old characters.

In this podcast – it's almost 10 minutes – he'll tell you what character is still strong, what character will be dropped by a lot of people, and which new characters are standouts. Also, will the tournament scene degenerate to just a few characters, or will it be varied? Finally, Keno tells you the one thing tournament players must do to have a shot of winning a competition.

UPDATE: During the podcast, Keno talked about the four characters yet to be revealed. Three have been confirmed: Ibuki, Makoto and Dudley.

Great podcast.I wished he covered Viper,Dhalsim, and Sakura, but it was still good. I'm concerned about Sagat, because I hated him the first time around and it would be nice to see more Gens online eventhough I don't play with him. I'm excited about finding out any info on the new characters. Looks like I'll be running into a lot of overhead trouble. Nice podcast there.

Seth says:
"Also, although Keno refers indirectly to playing the characters that were just announced today, that certainly didn't happen with me--the build at USC was exactly the same as the one showed at Fight Club in Las Vegas, with 4 masked character slots. There were a lot of people there, and this is quite clear. "

they nerfed Akuma's roundhouse?? Why? I know he's got a ton of offensive options, but shit, he gets hit 3 times and he's dead, he didn't need any nerfing...

Why is capcom so bad at balancing. They have never had a balanced game and from what I hear here it seems this one is gonna be more unbalanced than SF4. Why do they continue to destroy the low tier characters and buff / not tone down the higher tier ones?
