Latif and Mr. SNK cited visa and passport issues. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Japan later this year.
Because of the resignation, the new representatives will be Mike Ross and Ryan "Filipino Champ" Ramirez, the runners up from the qualifying tournament.
UPDATE: Here's a statement from Mike Ross on his Twitter portal:
I hate that this is how I go to SBO more than anything. But I promise to rep to the fullest. Latif/SNK are still the true winners.no comments

Armada won the championship that eluded him a couple years ago, prevailing over Mango to win the Genesis 2 Melee title. I talked to him about his win as well as the match before where he faced Hungrybox and decided to use Young Link.
The audio might be somewhat bad because the interview got cut off and several announcements were being made at the same time. Regardless, I hope you enjoy it.

Taj is well known as the best Mewtwo player in the nation even though he is versatile in a lot of other characters. The Arizona player took his skills to Genesis 2 where he stunned the field and finished third, losing to finalists Mango and Armada in the tournament.
I talked to him about his tournament run and his matches against the two finalists. Enjoy the podcast below.

I must admit, I predicted Kayane going to the team 2 weeks ago, but I was too chicken to make my prediction public. I noticed a lot of other fighting game followers making the prediction as well; so, props to them.
Anyway, Ryan Hart, who also is a member of the LowLandLions, is well known for being one of Europe's top players. He recently won Dreamhack Summer 2011 and finished in the top four at Super Vs. Battle. Kayane is one of the top female players in Europe, and she won the Super Street Fighter IV women's tournament at Evolution 2010.

Zfarls is the writer of the NCAA 12 guide, which you can pick up now. Here's some tips he gave ESPN:
7. Run your offensive scheme for 5-10 minutes in Practice Mode just before playing each day. Get comfortable with your scheme and situations you could be in.If you want to get more tips from Zfarls, talk to him on Twitter. no comments
8. Use the best available team. You play to win the game, yes your allegiance might be with your home town team, but make sure to play with the best team for your style of play.
9. Remember your strengths. Remember your weaknesses. Forget that last interception. Don't let one bad play rattle you, there will be times when things don't go your way. Stay focused and stick to your scheme.
Longtime fighting game veteran Brandon "Demon Hyo" Deshields (pictured, right) has joined Always Godlike, it was announced late Tuesday night.
Demon Hyo has been on both coasts battling opponents and is notable for many achievements, including making Dark Prince rage quit in Marve vs. Capcom 2 at Evolution 2007.
The move bumps Always Godlike's roster to eight players.
The team put out a welcome video for Demon Hyo; you can see it after the jump ...
